Think about it...
Your skills hold the key to moving your life forward.
And the ones that really count are the skills you're best at and which you love using. These are your prime skills and you need to make the most of them.
Your prime skills are the ones that give you a real buzz – you hardly notice time passing when you're using them.
Think you don't have many skills? You'd be amazed.
Most people have over 500 special skills they've developed over the years. And they don't just come from your education, training or job. They just come from the process of living – through the challenges you take on, the problems you overcome – even the mistakes you made.
You're adding to these skills all the time – not just through work or study but through every experience from your social or family life to leisure interests, sport or community involvement.
This exercise will open your eyes about your skills – and highlight those special ones that can help you get the kind of life you really want. It will also provide lots of useful information to help you promote yourself in your CV and interviews.
