The thing I remember most about STAR were the games we played and the discussions we had. After we'd finished STAR we also had a day with Connexions and Crag Rats and I could see how they linked together. It brought back all the things we'd done with STAR.
I went home and told my sister about it. She left school a few years ago. She was jealous as she only had Crag Rats when she was my age.
STAR really makes you think and it makes you more confident in your choices. I love working with children so I've taken Social Care as nursing is a possibility for me. I'd also love to work on a cruise ship my family went on a cruise and I loved it. Maybe I could work on a cruise ship as a nurse/medical staff. I'm going to keep my STAR booklet and carry on reading it and working through it. It'll be good to read it in a few years and see how I've stuck to my plan.
